Fake Travel Photography... what is it? is there such a thing as fake photography? I read a blog a few days ago from a French Photographer who seems really pissed off with this subject, calling people cheaters, and their travel photos FAKE. I ask myself is Travel Photography in any danger? What is Travel Photography? For most people the definition really doesn't matter: they travel and they take photos = make travel photos = travel photography! But is it this simple?

As you might guess I'm not touring now, we have the threat of the Corona Virus or COVID-19 hanging over us. I am at home in Spain with my family.
I am in lock down as the Spanish government has ordered, just like the rest of the country. Lock down was originally supposed to be for 14 days, but everyone knows they will add at least another 14 days to it, even 30 days. So until something changes, I am here, at home with my family. Touring is off for some months.

I just finished a VIP Private Winter Photo-Tour to an impassable part of the North Highlands of Iceland. Photo-tours in North Iceland during Winter are one of a kind. We call it a tour through a winter wonderland -is that a cliché? Yes maybe but that’s exactly what it is. The North is a great example of why this island is called ICELAND.

Christmas is a holiday dedicated to the family. We decided this year to spend the holiday season traveling through our new home-country, Spain. It didn’t take long to decide that Murcia city was the place to be for this season, the city of light. We have 2 daughters, 7 and 4 year old, so the trip had to include alternatives and activities for the whole family.
